The Caregiver Advocacy Program (CAP) is a legal program at the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, an interdisciplinary legal nonprofit addressing child welfare issues statewide.
CAP provides limited/full services to nonparent caregivers in juvenile, family, and probate matters. Our services focus on the safety and stability of children who cannot be in the care of their biological parents through child-centered and trauma-informed advocacy. Services in all cases are provided on a sliding scale basis. Payments plans are available upon request for retainer and ongoing case fees.
