Families dealing with high conflict custody battles sometimes end up involved with social services and the dependency and neglect system.  Family law professionals sometimes find themselves in the midst of a system that is very different than the domestic relations world.  This presentation will focus on how family law professionals can most effectively guide their clients through “the system.”  A former county attorney and current GAL will share insights about helping clients during investigations and once cases become court-involved, including advice on how to work with the various professionals involved in the system.
